The house is all papered and lathed, just about ready for stucco. It’ll look like this for a few weeks, though, since we have plenty of time and would like to wait for the weather to warm up first. Joel and his crew (our same subcontractor who did the slab) will be doing this work. Out front, the plumbers had to dig an enormous hole to connect to the sewer. The utilities on this property have been a bit mysterious. It’s been vacant for many years, but there once was a house on it (the neighbors have described it as more of a shack) that was demolished in the early 2000’s.
