The house is getting taller by the day! This week we set the last of the window bucks, and got our lumber delivered for the bond beam and remaining lintels. Outside, we’re working around a mess of window bracing and story poles. All this extra lumber will come off the house once the bond beam goes on. We’re looking forward to that moment – it’s so nice to remove it and get to really see the house underneath again! The higher we go the more of a pain it is to get the mud and adobes up there, but Kenny and Nathan have been making steady progress. When it’s all said and done, over 4,400 adobes will have gone into this house. #adobehouse
