Flashback to 2013, when we built this 170 sq ft tiny house and then lived in it for three years. Constructed with SIPs (structural insulated panels) on a 21′ double axle trailer, Kenny and Esther’s tiny house featured Western red cedar siding, @pellawindows, wood floors, CVG Douglas fir trim harvested and milled (by us) in Colorado, @uniqueappliancesltd off-grid propane appliances, a 30″ shower and standard toilet, low voltage light fixtures, and a sleeping loft large enough to accommodate a full size futon mattress. Sold in 2017. Last we heard she’s in Asheville, North Carolina now. #tinyhouse
